Merri Creek sunny Sunday

Another nice day down by Merri Creek... right next to a homeless camp/shelter...

Van Gogh style at Merri Creek

Another trip to Merri Creek with the ipad.
Channeling Vincent this time. A time consuming way to paint, but fun. This view is almost the exact reverse of the previous image. Its looking down the hill, rather than up it.

Birthday fun

I am in the middle of reading the biography of Saul Steinberg, who I have always thought was one of the 20th centuries greatest artists, cartoonist, visual philosopher and all around master draftsman.

Been looking at lots of his work online and today I had a play making a Steinberg style landscape with stamps... It was fun.
